Kevin’s perspective as both a survivor of assault and a federal prosecutor gives him rare insight on how to handle cases involving traumatic events. He’ll answer your questions related to victim dynamics, prosecution of child abuse and exploitation, recovery and resilience, and more!
Kevin is well known for his keynote presentations at large national conferences, and we are honored to have this opportunity with him. Please note that Kevin’s presentation WILL NOT BE RECORDED, and will be available only to those who register to attend the live session.

Modules Available Now
Core Module 1 Overview: The Effects of Trauma on the Brain and Behavior
Core Module 2 Historical: The Influence of Community Violence and Culture
Core Module 3 Impact: The long-lasting effects of trauma featuring the voices of survivors and caregivers
Length of modules
The first three modules are designed to be approximately 60-90 minutes in length, though your time may vary.
Quizzes and Certificates
Each module includes a quiz that will help us measure your knowledge before and after you complete the module. You are not expected to know the answers before taking the module. Once you have completed the module, you will need a score of 80% to receive a certificate of completion.
You will receive a certificate of completion after each module. If you complete the first three modules you can email us to request a Core Knowledge Certificate. Individual certificates for each discipline-specific module will also be available.
CEUs for MFTs and LCSWs
At this time we are offering CEUs for MFTs and LCSWs licensed in California. We will be pursuing credit for the discipline-specific modules as appropriate once they are available. If you are an MFT or LCSW and would like to receive CEU credit, click here.
