Can we develop and train our minds to be focused and calm under the stress of conflict? To be resilient, and even content during difficult times? We can with MENT-CON, Mental Conditioning Training. In this course we examine the nature of conflict and how the ability to be agile and adaptive in our thinking is critical to successful conflict resolution. Then we introduce simple, evidence-based training practices that improve the brain’s attentional system and develop:
Mental focus and concentration
Situational awareness, both internal (including implicit and unconscious bias) and external.
Calm during times of physical and mental stress.
Emotional regulation.
The ability to make sound and timely decision under stress.
