Resources for Families of Male Victims

Supporting an individual who has experienced abuse can be a lot to take on. Refer to the following resources to understand how to best support your close community:

Male Survivor provides information around building communities and connecting male survivors of trauma and their families to resources internationally. 

At least 1 in 6 men are abused at some point in their lives. 1 in 6 is an organization that provides information, resources, and support for men who have experienced the trauma of abuse.

RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline, 800-656-HOPE.  

WEAVE is committed to breaking the cycle of violence by educating the community to better understand the issues of domestic violence and sexual assault.
